Deep within the magma pits of Maelthra Thac'zilen, where the magma was the hottest and the lands were at their harshest a lone figure would stand still and silent against the sun dyed a bleak red from the uprise of gas and smoke.
Nose to tip, heavily scaled creature the color of burned ash would be a full fifteen feet, standing upon powerfully muscled back legs it would stand at ten feet, leaving the fife feet of tail to curl gracefully around the beasts body. Thick black plates run from the back of its head down the length of his enormously long spine. Head was large, thick scales formed close together would give his face a stone feel. Black eyes that shone like the nights finest diamond glittered in deep sockets, leathery brows running down the long snout tipped off with dual horns covering nostrils. From behind the eyes would sprout a set of foot long hoary hued horns. Wings would be of exquisite prominence, four finger-like segments tipped off with a claw that could serve as a thumb. Thick membranes of scarlet would frame the areas between each segment; darker veins of gold would traffic through each membrane. Forelegs would be built for power rather than speed, the same silver hued claws would tip each of the tri toed talons.
Zoro Oshuma was a proud figure indeed, graceful feral form would stand tall, eyes would stay at a steady keep forwards, eyes latched onto the large stone cracked in winding red and orange.
The sound would begin slowly, softly, at first a soft slow rumble from deep within that powerful barrel chest. Rumble would turn to a hum, hum would soon turn to a soft, haunting melody, simple in all terms.
Beast would lean forward, would extend his neck out further, eyes widening as his wings would unfurl themselves, glittering paths of brilliant gold streaming through his veins like magma, the winding cracks within the ancient stone would slowly begin to widen, flecks of the rock breaking from its mother and still the beast would sing its eerie tune. Song as his father would often say, was the essence of life itself, as his song was beginning to do.

Eris had been in the back of her own den- high in altitude, wide, large, and such. The reason for height was because of the temperature, and she could survive QUITE easily in the cruelest conditions of cold weather. It could even be said that she was simply made for them. Eris was unique, she looked quite different from the rest with her silver slits rather then a cruel, cold blue for eyes. Her scales mended together in colors of the lightest blue and the shiniest silver. And among her spine, were sharp ridges that curved. Coming out from her muscular bodice, were wings quite large, only slightly smaller then her as for the reason that they could tuck in without a worry of her wings dragging on the floor.
Her bodice was curled in a ball, as offen wolves were when it was cold. Though she was comfterable. Smoke rose from her nose, the heat coming in contact with the crisp air making clouds over her narrids. While Eris was muscular, she was standing at a full fourteen feet. She hardly stood on her back legs unless challenging someone, which she found was rarely happening as there were barely any ice dragons that wished for her domain. Talons jutted out from her feet, the only one retractable being the back.
One, silver eye flickered open as she had heard the song of another dragon. She hesitated before moving anymore, feeling to comfterable to shift. For a moments time the sound had ceased, but it had only started again. The long, ivory fangs were revealed in her slight irratation. She gave a light grunt, before her long, sleek silver neck had lifted with little effort. Her jaw pulled down in a lazy yawn, forked tongue slithering out only to slip back in. Now she had raised, allowing her limbs to begin a simple rotation. Her talons clicked 'pon her lairs ground, long tail dragging upon the floor and lifting every-so-offen, 'twas the source of every dragons balance. At the end of her tail, was a sharp dagger like arrow that was flat. Had she swung her tail to her left and you were on that side, you could easily be sliced.
Her spikes started out small, getting larger upon her back. She was not made for breeding per-say, but could enjoy those pleasures. Even so knowing this, you can know that breeding was HARDLY a priority at this point. Her folded wings of a silver hue, had no veins showing though there were plenty. However- upon some of her body were darker colors, underbelly the lightest color there was.
Given a choice, Eris could blow fire. But she rarely did, as she was a dragoness of Ice. And she completley loved it. She was muscular enough to defeat dragons in second, yet also stealthy. When it came to flight, that is. She could easily manuever herself while in the air. Her tongue touched ice cold water, and suddenly you could hear the slow cracking of Ice beginning to form. When she was done the small drinking area was completley iced, and then she went to the very edge of her cave. She looked down, having not amazing vision, but enough vision to see an abundancy of magma, along with a big splotch. Another dragon. And it was singing, but for what occasion?
A low hum began to caress the larynx of Eris, a higher pitch. But it ended as quick as it started, it had not been a song but proof of presence, rather. Her wings unfurled and had opened, as she merely lunged off the edge of her cave. Immidiatly in retaliation, her wings parachuted and then tilted, her long, snake-like tail begining to wave as to catch the balance of flight, along with direction. Her wings tilted as she began to speedily descend from the truely high altitude, arriving right next to the humming brute. A grunt came out on her part, as a bright, blue light was forming in her throat and others could easily see and know it was a build-up. However, she wasnt to attack, she was readying her descend. Her ice was at its strongest, currently, and she could stand dry ice as she was the soul maker of it.
So the ball now moved forward as her jaw opened, long shards of ice forming together and mounting upon the magma. It was now a large 'runway', so it appeared, and the 'ess now had the true sheer safety of descend. Her claws were not blunt but sharp as to root themself into the ice as it had been on most ice dragons. Her tail now quickly moved, quickening her descend. And finally, she had landed, a big rumble and quake upon the earth. Her bright silver eyes now lifted up to see the floating figure of another dragon.

Zoro was almost to preoccupied with his song to notice the other that was in the field. Though this was by far not startling, for this land was made to fit the dragons like him. Something had driven him here, something had told him about this place where his song would be heard.
This new presence was unlike that of which he’d come across before, for the ability this beast possessed was unlike his kindred. Slowly the song would die in his throat as irritation overtook compulsion.
Those glittering, piercing eyes would make their way to his side, body hunching forward onto all fours, talons digging into the stone below him, whip-like tail lashing about frantically before he stopped completely. It was a female. He could sense it; smell her, a beast of light, peace, life.
His compulsion had directed him here for a mission, back to the lands of his birth to mark his territory anew, but to find that it was being inhabited by a female. Elegant wings would fold slowly, fingerlike bones shifting as they did. The lands stood in their quiet song, one he’d memorized as a babe, the scents the smell, how could he have not noticed it before? Had she been dormant?
Another question came to mind, was she of Dragon or Drakonis origin?
Another crack appeared on the stone, pebbles flying out into the magma that haloed the ground below it.
Call to me forsaken, see light upon darkness, hear calls within deafness, feel skin with no finger to feel upon.
His call to her would be through means, any Dragon or Drakonis would know, a common bond through the mind, and, depending on whether she called upon the words in the right manner he would simply wait. Glancing at the shards of ice that had fallen and were quickly melting. She was definitely different.

Now, Eris didn't swoon over any male, let alone Zoro himself. He was handling himself appropriatly, seeing as half the other males would have merely tried to seed her in seconds, forgetting about the spikes among the spine. Breeding without permission would only mean sweet suicide. Her wings were folded as her claws removed themselves from the stable, iced flooring. The aura around her was cold, had she passed you in heat like this you would feel the coldest breeze. Her movements were sharp, icy. She didnt lumber. She moved with an odd feline-like grace.
Smoke once again rose from her nose as the song escaped his larynx. Wonderful, questions of mate-ship. But it was only the way of a dragon, and she had to mate sooner or later. Though she knew she was perfectly capable of surviving on her own, more dragons had been arriving frequently. Her scaled skin flinched lightly, her neck now bobbing giving a guttural, even murr. Her own mind began to sing in response to his. None lights the skies, I prefer to be alone at night. Of course, some would think this is the end. That it was sheer denial, but of course she picked up where she had ended. Agreed. Her hum was that, and that alone- acceptance. She had no idea how to respond in his language, hopefully he knew some proper language. Otherwise, what good would he be?
Yet her spikes remained the same. She didnt live upon the magma but in the highest mountains, the large cave. For most it would be hard to breathe, but it was there she felt she was able to survive. Her tail began to flicker left and right faintly as her neck began to glow, the very center, and more ice spewed out as she began walking towards water near by. She would not remain upon the magma, but upon the water. She could swim, unlike most dragons, but with ice came water.
A big, large blue ball formed in her gut. Though larger then the rest. She would cover up the whole water source, which thankfully wasnt too much. The ice began shattering in all directions out of her mouth, in long liquid like forms. It coated over the water evenly then began cracking into a frozen form. Her talons pushed out a bit as she slowly began moving towards the frozen water. But the very back claw made a rather large circle, easy access to swimming should she grow hungry.
The sleek, muscular figure of the 'ess glinted in the light. Eris, The whisper in her mind was a light, effortless tune.

The acceptance startled him, though he remained calm as he watched her.
Light, life, ice, peace, forest
The words became a rhythm in his mind. Alone at nights, she was of a pure breed, though not much difference to him. Raising his head his nostrils would flare as he took in a strange mixture of heat and ice, light and dark.
Eris
His barrel chest would rumble, scales shifting as he vibrated with his call. But here was not appropriate. Making his way towards her, he would glance around himself cautiously, wings half extending out before himself for a quick jump lest the ice be unstable. Slowly, carefully he would make his way to the femme, ice curling lightly around hoary talons below his body. He brushed his nose up gently against her sides, from her haunches to her shoulders, slowly and gently, almost coaxing her to make herself safe for him.
Grunting he stepped back as the ice gave a crying creak beneath him, pulling him from his instincts if only for a moment.
Away with me young Eris, my bearings upon your element are less than fitful.
With this statement his wings would unfurl, releasing their full span to the warming air above him, gold flittering in specks within the veins. Jowls would spread wide to expose the rows of ivory teeth and dual black tongues flecked in red and forked like that of his kin.
Taking to the air was an effortless gesture for himself, he almost needed not use his wings as his body took to the skies, moving with the wind… Or perhaps the wind moved with him.
He would await the femme, not yet sure if he would call her his mate as of yet. He almost stayed suspended in the air, motionless as his claws gripped an invisible treasure. It’d been so long… too long.

Eris knew nothing about love. Hardly anything about lust. His figure had begun to move towards her, her first instinct was to turn around and leave, KNOWING that his weight was too much, but she stayed put. Of course, she wanted to know if his life was more important then court-ship itself, and as her talon dug deep and she leaned more-so on her right, that answer had been quick. And she liked that he had tugged away, because he HAD barely known her, even though the bond was supposed to last for a life-time.
She began to near the circle she had created, glancing back at him. Before the lovely ritual, wouldn't it be lovely to snag some food? Her whole form suddenly disapeared beneath the ice, which was alright. She could stay under there a whole hour without needed to come take a breathe. It was because of how much lung capacity she had, and how used to doing this she was. It was sheer instinct. Her body began to go deeper, her wings plastered to her body as her haunches began to rotate mechanicaly. She found she could see better and further under-water, then above land, prehaps because she was born under water.
Born, underwater- brought up at the second highest mountain there had been. Suddenly she felt the darkness surround her, and she was perfectly alright. She just needed to raise, she wasn't in the mood for Great white. Maybe for desert. Her body began to flow up and down as if a fast-moving whale, tail guiding her. A great school of fish passed, and she had slowly but surely began to follow them. She hunted alone, most the time, sharks aware of her presence while others weren't. She followed them until they passed a huge school of fish, and then she moved next to them. Her tail acted like a mere harthingy, but it had thrashed about paralyzing a number of fish. In her mouth she could carry a lot of fish, it could easily expand for things like this. She grasped some-of them with her palms wrapped around, and quickly surfaced placing them on the freezing ice. They were already dead, she needn't worry about them escaping. Prehaps, one to 5 may survive, no more.
So now she had hunted fish, it was time to get some desert. She went to the great deep, bubbles floating from her narrids a few times before she had truely heald her breathe. Finally she was where a pod of them shark had lived. She pushed herself to the bottom with her mass, her bottom legs first and talons planting themselves to the ground. Sharks were circling nothing in front of her, and she simply stood there, looking much like a large statue.
Suddenly, her arm thrashed forward and her claws pierced through two sharks. Quickly her other arm swiped out, one escaping, the other being harthingyed. For the last time she submerged. Now it was time to roast them. Easily, she moved her prey towards the hot magma. She liked it best crisp. She pushed the load of sea-food upon where the small crevices were, and then fire burst from her mouth. It was the color of blue, so hell yes, these fish were torched.
She quickly gobbled them up in about ten licks. This would last her quite the time. Now, her wings began to thrust at the air, but she hadnt stopped like the brute. She was leading him to her place, with two roasted sharks he could feast on. Of course he could hunt, too. SHe just knew he wouldnt be used to THIS kind of meal, as it was from deep down in the waters.
Now, high in altitude, her wings tilted so that she was going straight where a large whole was. Her cave. Breathing was easy for her species, and it should be easy enough for him. She dropped the sharks and allowed her spikes to sink in, giving in. Her silver eyes flashed. It had, best be worth it. Giving in, that is.

Zoro spared only the just of interest in the femme’s hunting, she of course had to eat, who knew how log she’d been dormant. The brunt of his attention though, was on the great stone.
It was still cracking, his wakening song having gone noticed.
Shiomsite…
His wings gave two great downward thrusts into the air below his great form to keep himself aloft in the superheated air. The great Red, Shiomsite was slowly awakening from his slumber, and without Zoro’s song to guide him, this could prove fatal to him and his mate.
Where was she! It’d only been a few moments and already worry was setting in for her, had their bond already taken? Apparently not for their link had been broken the second her body delved beneath the frozen waters.
This was by far not good. Acting on instinct and protective needs, he angled himself into a tight downward spiral, smoke spewing from his nostrils as he took in the heat that conformed all around him. Normally the great male could not breathe fire on his own, needing another source of great heat or a large enough flame to control for himself; but thanks to the heated area around him he easily had the needed heat to create fire.
His jowls were forced apart by the great amounts of fire that licked at the roof of his maw now spilling out the sides to reveal the molten ball of fire that lay within. He again angled himself so that he sat vertical in the air, wings spread wide as they acted on the rising heat to keep him up.
With a powerful roar the magma fire was thrust from his maw in a continuous jet of whitening fire, forcing the great cracks that now overtook most of the stone to melt into themselves. Whether this would help or not would remain to be seen as he circled the rock, closing the cracks.
Eris! he called forth to her hopelessly, for again she could not hear him. He had to protect her and himself.
With the brunt of the cracks sealed he made his way to the frozen pond like structure she’d vanished under. Another great blast came from his maw, flames causing the ice cover to shrink away from it.
Finally she arose, oblivious to the danger that was taking place around her as she ate. As she drew aloft he would follow her only a short distance before angling away to take flight to the opening ravine, Eris, we must fly away, your safety and mine are in jeopardy. He needed to pull her from this land until Shiomsite made his leave.
1 down… 4 to go…
